Is there a MAC pigment called Clear Sky Blue?  I should have asked beforehand, but I'm concerned because it doesn't "stick" to the jar and cover like regular pigments do.

I was browsing the mac site right now and saw mineralized eyeshadow quads!

It would be nice to say that after this small breakthrough, neither Liesel nor Max dreamed their bad visions again. It would be nice but untrue. The nightmares arrived like they always did, much like the best player in the opposition when you've heard rumours that he might be injured or sick - but there he is, warming up with the rest of them, ready to take the field. Or like a timetabled train, arriving at a nightly platform, pulling the memories behind it on a rope. A lot of dragging. A lot of awkward bounces.

Well, colourful by my usual standards, at least. But I am trying to be a more active member! It is so difficult to get good pictures, though. Anyways, I've started filling in my brows more, as per zeriyx's advice in my last post. It's really amazing such a different darker brows can make in determining one's overall look! i need to use the good ol' LJ more often. i miss it, but i seem to never have time for long entries that mean anything, and after a while it seems silly to ramble about what i did 2 weeks ago. ah well.

the project for tonight: killing the aphids that are apparently infesting my cilantro plant. ew. allegedly i can spray them with a soap solution that will suffocate them, but i don't want those bastards hopping onto my other, healthy plants! we'll see how that goes, i stopped and got a little spray bottle on my way home just for the job.

holiday weekend was quite fun, lots of relaxing and lots of seeing people. went to a "baby birthday" yesterday which was really just an excuse for people to get together and grill (because what 1 year old really cares about a party?). but it was fun, got to see a good group of peeps from the old neighborhood where i grew up. they are all married and/or have kids, so it's kinda weird, but i'm doing just fine thank you very much. and mrs. kerry is still the best damn cook ever, i loaded up on the potato salad because it will be a while again until i can have more of her "secret recipe..." that she did share with me - while it was good, i can't exactly replicate it.

today, back to the grind. my desk is piled high with all the catholic school handbooks there are at the moment, bleh. nuns are mean, too. so i'll be quite occupied with that nonsense for the next few months. i guess that's good though, i'll get some overtime. i need to just get a new job though. damn my sense of loyalty/guilt....

I come with a question for all of you who swear by Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation (I know a lot of you do!).

What's the best shade equivalent for MAC NC15? I'm also W2 Light Ivory in L'Oreal True Match (the second lightest warm shade).
Every time I look at Colorstay, the colors look so...pigmented. And kind of dark.
Basically, I'm really pale with warm undertones. Any really good matches, or should I stick to other things? Thanks, ladies and gents!

+a basic red pigment sample.  1/4 teaspoon or more would be great.
+Chrome yellow pan.  Any usage or condition would fine.
+Morange lipstick. Any usage.

Non-Mac, I am looking for:
+any Obessessive Compulsive lip tars
+coastal scents gel liner (or sample would be great) in almost any color.

Hello everybody! These pictures all seem blurry and too contrasty to me, but I hope you still like them. I start cosmetology school tomorrow and I'm super excited. I also have tons of makeup I've ordered that should be coming in the mail, so expect lots of FOTDS!

So lately there has been a rise of fake pigment pushers in this community, one in particular whom EVERY single fullsize pigment she is selling is FAKE FAKE FAKE, bought on the cheap from a wholesale seller from one of the asian trading sites, and being resold at full retail price.

They know the stuff they're shilling here is fake and they don't care, so I guess its time to make this post again to remind everyone to be on the lookout for fakes. She's already scammed some people.

Before purchasing pigments in m_c, please try to make absolute sure its real! Ask the seller where they got it - I personally don't mess around, and unless they got it from a mac store or a CCO, I'm not buying. I only buy pigments and pigment samples from trusted sellers.

DO NOT buy  from sellers who get their pigments off ebay, trade sites, or wholesalers. It is almost always fake.

ASK FOR PICTURES! You should be looking at the front and back of the pigment jar, the lid, the open jar, and the label on the bottom. You should ask to see the box - top and bottom, and the printing on the front.

A big giveaway for some of the fakes lately are opaque labels - the opacity of scotch tape. MAC never made labels like this. Pigment label stickers are clear or silver. period. The matte pigment fakes also have the volume of frost on their boxes - real mattes have 2.5g on the box, rather than 7.5g.

so i dyed my hair again. for those of you who dye their hair red, you know how much of a pain in the butt it is to keep looking the red you want it.

so i went back to the color i always go back to.

oh and i practiced my bridal makeup for wednesday. i think it turned out pretty good. gotta work on wearin falsies again lol.
